This books was amazing and I will definitely continue with the series. Something I found made me uncomfortable was the references to real life things like tv shows and Harry Stiles. This could be taken in a positive and negative way. The first would be that it makes the story seem more possible in our daily life. The latter would be that it makes it hard to get into the book and can get a little annoying.

The book starts with our main character Grace, moving to the academy in Alaska of what her uncle is the headmaster of, after her parents death. That is when she meets Jaxon Vega the most popular man in the school. When she is viciously attacked within days of her arrival, it quickly becomes clear that someone will go to great lengths to see her dead.
